The Conference is just FORTY-NINE DAYS Away!
The 2025 Conference of Writers is a dynamic one-day writers’ conference for storytellers of all levels and genres—fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and beyond. The highly-regarded event features hands-on writing workshops led by acclaimed authors and industry leaders, as well as exclusive one-on-one appointments with an established editor or literary agent. Whether you’re polishing a manuscript, seeking representation, or simply honing your craft, this conference offers inspiration, education, and opportunity under one roof.
Coming Soon – Private Appointments for Attendees
Why would you want to schedule a private appointment? Meeting with an editor or agent at a writers conference can be a game-changer for your writing career. These 15-minute appointments offer a rare chance to get direct, personalized feedback from an experienced professional. You may hear straight from someone in the industry what’s working in your story—or what’s not. It’s like a shortcut to figuring out how to make your writing more marketable, without months of guesswork, false starts, and missed opportunities. Plus, during this appointment you’ll get a feel for what the industry wants. Our industry experts can share insights on trends, genres they’re looking for, or what’s oversaturated in today’s market. That’s gold if you’re trying to tailor your writing to sell. Plus, they might drop tips on submission dos and don’ts—stuff you won’t find in generic online guides.
Private appointments will be scheduled beginning on March 15 to registered conference attendees only. These appointments are sure to fill up quickly, so you’ll want to mark your calendar and watch your inbox carefully.
