Carol June Franks
Vice President
Carol June Franks is a former teacher who writes children's books published by Junebug Tales Publishing. Her books incorporate her passion for teaching, and include bonus material to help parents and teachers strengthen children's reading and writing ability. She and her husband live in Bagdad, Kentucky. When she's not writing, she can be found gardening, reading, hiking with friends, walking her dogs, Duke and Winnie, being at her church, hanging out with family and friends, cleaning old cemetery headstones, and learning new hobbies. Chris Helvey is an award winning short-story writer, a poet, and a novelist. Debra lives in Central Kentucky, in the heart of horse country, with her faithful dog, Benny. She came to a writing career later in life after retiring from healthcare. Finally having the time to pursue her lifelong dream of becoming an author, Debra sat down with her computer and started writing.
